This category honors an individual who has used the Matchbin Content Management System's tools to best serve their media outlet. This person will have used the CMS to its greatest level across all mediums and will strive ever forward with ideas, innovations and sites that take readers to a whole new level of experience. Innovators can be nominated by anyone or even themselves and should include at least five working examples via URL to show their innovations and projects.

Best use of Matchbin technology
This category goes out to a project or group of projects that shows off some of the best ways to use Matchbin technology. While it doesn't have to include multimedia, these projects should include more than just text and photos to show innovative storytelling. Each entry should have links to a project, showing how it tells the story and detailing the development of the idea, the methods of storytelling, and its overall success.

Best use of video
This category honors those on the cutting edge of video journalism for Web sites. This can go to a single video or a video series. Judges will be looking for excellent use of the medium to convey the message to readers. Each entry should have links to a project, showing how it tells the story and a written description of how it was conceived and how it was successful.

Best Blog(s)
Although not as new and fancy as video, blogs remain a vital part of today's media. This category honors the best of the best bloggers from Matchbin sites. Each blogger should submit three to five links to their best blogs. Bonus points will be given to bloggers using more than just words to convey their messages. If there are enough blog entries to warrant it, we can break this into multiple blog categories. Matchbin sites are also encouraged to submit URLs of two pages containing multiple blogs. Judges will not evaluate based on the quantity of blogs but quality. Each entry should have links to a project, showing how it tells the story and a written description of how it was conceived and how it was successful.

Most Innovative Multimedia Storytelling
